By accessing or using Vett (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Vett provides conflict screening decision-support tools for law firms, including multi-source search, document scanning, risk classification, and audit trail features. Vett is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.
3. User Obligations
You agree to provide accurate registration information, maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials, and use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and professional rules of conduct. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service are owned by Vett and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of data you upload to the Service.
5. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Vett shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Vett is a decision-support tool; counsel and the firm apply policy and the Rules of Professional Conduct.
6. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
